I absolutely adore this book! It made me feel all the feels and it lives rent free in my head. Her world is so vivid, rich, and well developed and the characters are *chef kiss*. Slow burn, fade to black romance, chosen one, sisterly bond, elemental magic, Greek/Etruscan/Celtic mythology, reluctant allies to lovers, enemies to lovers, strong female characters, morally grey men, broody MMC... it has all my favorite themes and tropes!
You absolutely need to read this book!

How S.E. Bouvier managed to write a book over 600 pages that maintains a fast paced, action-filled plot from beginning to very end while weaving in deeply rich and relatable characters and an expertly constructed world and magic system is nothing short of masterful. You can tell how much work, research, and intentionality went into every chapter.
